I got almost everything I ate today in photos so stick with me here. So as you know these posts actually happen on Tuesday and today was election day and it was also a very busy day so lets do it.
Breakfast was french toast. 1 egg with almond milk and cinnamon on 2 pieces of sprouted wheat bread with sautéed apples, some syrup, and almond butter!
I didn’t snack in-between this and teaching today. My 8 am was cancelled so we could vote but I chose to sleep in instead and vote later in the day.
Heres lunch! I roasted up a storm on Monday so I could have salads like this that take 30 seconds to make. There is spinach, romaine, roasted squash, carrots, red onions, and potatoes! I also have some apples, chopped almonds, and some of this dressing in Caesar on top! On the side of this I had an apple, 1/2 an orange, and 1/2 a bag of these chips below and LOTSaa waterrr!
I went to Advanced Nutrition after lunch with no tea in hand like I usually have because I was heading to a coffee date with the Nomva girls at Cafe Gratitude.
Before I headed over there I ate the last of my moms pumpkin chocolate chip muffins (2 muffin bottoms- already ate the tops on some other day) that were in my last WIAW too- guilty as charged. Not actually guilty though because I just eat what I want and the fall and winter are usually filled with my favorite baked goods around and I live it up!
At Cafe G I had such a nice time chatting about life and drinking kombutcha rather than coffee because it was 90 degrees in LA today- so hot coffee was not at option at that time.
I got back in Glendale and headed to the polling place to vote! I love that. I came home to take the doggie for a 20 minute walk with 3 sets of 10 burpies and 10 alternating ab exercises ( I did Russian twists, then reverse crunches, then bicycles changing the 10 moves every time- so I did 10 of each of these things). It was a long day and thats what I felt like doing.
I have an early morning circuit workout on Wednesdays so I know I’ll get in a good sweat soon!
Dinner was Gnocchi with Chicken Sausage from Cooking Light heres the link ! I add extra spinach under mine and I had a plate and a half of this goodness with extra parm on top!
Post dinner I was still hungry- some days I eat lots of snacks after dinner some days I just eat a little sweet thing. I ate one of my Chocolate PB Oatmeal Cups with a little extra PB- UGH LOVE THEM.
Also some cherries and a spoon of Siggis, and this combo with Chai tea.
