I have some recent eats and outfits to share with you! The last 3 weeks have been crazy busy but I have been able to snap some photos to give you an idea of some meals. Lunches have looked a lot like the below. Raw veg, sandwich or other main dish, cheese and crackers, cookies or chocolate or something, and fruit! I recently have been making bulk recipes and eating the same thing for 4 days straight so that’s why I don’t post it all on IG (boringggg).
I’m done teaching my nutrition classes at the YMCA for my thesis project (where much of my extra time has gone the last 3 weeks) and the feedback I’ve gotten has been so great I’m now working on developing a permanent curriculum/ information to give out to members who ask. On the last day of teaching my best friend came to watch me and join for a Zumba class followed by margs and quesadilla shared with Sar and my parents. I freaking love quesadillas and have them often as they used to be a food I feared for having no nutritional value. Now that I know a quesadilla is simply protein (chicken + a little from cheese), fat (cheese/sour cream/ avo), and carbs (tortilla) I love having one regularly since the taste is awesome to me.
Wednesday nights I’m with my Youth and Government teens at the Y and there is this wonderful Lebanese restaurant right by our meeting location so I have been grabbing something yummy on my way over for a little dinner change up throughout the week. Also everything I have gotten is under 10 dollars- amazing. Here is what I got 3 weeks ago, I was sick last week, and here is what I got this past week!
A variety of flat breads + a side salad with feta and amazing dressing!
Dinners are either eaten at school from a tupperwear or are at home with whatever my parents decide to cook! This meal is from a company called Dream Dinners– we used to do this a lot when my parents both worked full time and my sister and I were little to have dinner in a flash!
The last 2 Saturdays after coaching I have eaten a protein style burger with cheese + sweet potato fries from the Habit! Hits the spot- EVERY time.
Lastly, here are some outfits this week! I wanted to do a nice photoshop compilation but it’s giving me issues and keeps shutting down and honestly I am so un-talented at photoshop I’ll probably quit my membership- SO let me know if this format is ok too! My style is pretty basic I just like to look put together because when I look like it I feel like it more! I used to really criticize my body because I carry weight in my tummy, I don’t have perfect muscle definition, and my shoulders are big, but see those are just facts and I can’t really change them – I’ve now accepted them and dress for the occasion (occasion being my body). Hope this inspires you to find what works for YOUR body and to enjoy getting dressed rather than loathe it!
Since I just decided to start this on Wednesday here is Wednesday. Classes from 12-3 (easy day!)
Thursday- I teach Tuesdays/Thur but CSULA is pretty relaxed with dress code so dark jeans and blouse will do! This Thursday was special because I had night class cancelled so I got to go to yoga- such a treat!
(Lol at this photo- my dad is still working on perfecting the photo taking- Madewell Jeans , Top from a boutique but brand is Lush, shoes– from this place linked but didn’t have the shoe- Madewell bracelets but the summer version )
Friday- food bank work for Community Nutrition + leading grocery store tours for the Y and babysitting- quick change into leggings once the kids went to bed so I could dive into studying and grading.
Sunday- out and about + transition to church.
I wore this same thing all day Saturday after coaching and working out to babysitting but with a different top situation. We attempted going to the science center for the Body Worlds exhibit today but we got caught in Rams traffic and decided some couch time was earned after hiking a VERY steep trail earlier in the day for 2 hours. I’ll probably just throw on jeans and flats for mass.
There we go! How did you like this? Would love to know in the comments.
