This week was great. I’m still on break so that means I’m still confused as to what day it is and what I’m supposed to be doing but I’m making the most of it. I finally felt like an intern for Robyn this week which was great. It’s a steep learning curve and I’m not totally confident in myself yet but I know I’ll get there soon! I also had to say bye to my sister who goes back to New Orleans today and ugh, it was hard. Onward and upward though!
This week I also ate some satisfying things. Here they are!
My favorite snacks were:
THIS ice cream. Ugh- basically what my dreams are made of! I’ve also been living off vans waffles every morning for the last 2 weeks with butter and syrup and I keep wanting more so that required a Whole Foods run. They make for a great preworkout meal- yay for carbs!
Also my favorite babysitting snack is always pretzel goldfish and a cheese stick. Been doing a lot of that this break and I love hanging with my cute tiny humans.
Dad, sister, and I went out to Bacari for dinner on Wednesday for Kate’s last week home celebration and got some of my favorites.
I love their salad- lots of crunchy veggies and cheese.
+ their pizza is the closest thing to Italy that I’ve had in LA!
Some other faves were my savory breakfasts with a toasted English muffin + the vegan pesto from trader joes + an egg and greens of sorts. Eggs and English muffins from Milk and Eggs!
+ home made pizza with TJs whole wheat crust and 2 kinds of toppings.
+ dad’s pasta sauce and whole wheat pasta + salad.
