I’ve decided to take away the dedicated recipe tab on this blog because I don’t consider myself a recipe creator. That tab was there because I felt like I should rather than I wanted to. Ya feel? I replaced it with travel because I LOVE traveling and showing you guys where I ate and what I did in case you need ideas.
Every now and again though, I would love to add a recipe or two I swear by so you can just click the recipe tag and it will take you there! If you follow me on instagram you know that I eat these pancakes 5/7 days of the week and I get questions all the time so here they are! I love these as a pre workout or just a wonderful, sweet start to your day. These are best enjoyed with coffee, butter, and syrup 🙂 This recipe is for 2 people. You can half it for one serving.
You will need:
1 cup of whole wheat flour- I use the TJs or Whole Foods brand
1 cup milk- I use unsweetened almond
1 tsp baking soda
1 TBSP sugar- I use coconut because that was in the pantry
- Add all the dry ingredients into the bowl.
- Add in the eggs and milk and mix. It shouldn’t be super thick and you should see some bubbles forming.
- Spray a pan with non-stick cooking spray and pour them in when the pan is medium-hot! Flip when you see little bubbles all over. Feel free to add in chocolate chips, blueberries, or bananas!
I hope you enjoy these! I love a good grass fed salted butter like kerrygold and some real maple syrup along side! Enjoy the rest of your week 🙂
