So this recipe came up a while ago when I tried to make some form of cookie. I realized it was too crumbly but tasted so dang good that I switched the name to granola and BOOM here we are.
Also side note- if you wanted to make an edible cookie dough that sort of tastes like the Elemental Superfood Granola then eat this raw after you food process it a little. Its INSANE. I was going to post a photo of that here too but I’ll do it another time.
Let’s focus on the cooked version now shall we?
Eat this after it cools for 5 minutes straight off the pan, throw it in ice cream, in yogurt, on more fats like PB- the possibilities are endless.
Somehow the cacao nibs go from bitter to melty and sweet in the oven. I think its due to a little help from my friend maple syrup and some heat. This is also an awesome gift to bring to a holiday party as a hostess gift with a bottle of wine. I’m thinking some red and this… ugh dreams.
I mean even if you forgot a gift these ingredients are easy to snag and only takes 5 minutes to put together and 20ish in the oven!
I also love the pairing of yogurt and this. Grab a Siggis and top that baby!
I can’t wait to deliver this to my sister in a few hours at the airport! I haven’t seen her since August and I MISS HER. She just finished her first semester pre med at Tulane in New Orleans. Woo! Go Sissie!
